Destination: Port Manec'h

An utterly charming village nestled between a massive granite-boulder costal walk west, a sheltered sandy bay east and a wooded, dappled shade riverpath north to a delightful town.

Heavenly swimming

Endless footpaths

No mosquitos

Friendly French

Multiple markets

Fresh fish, and more fresh fish

Few people

Great spear fishing

6th deck windowless berth next to ferry propellas - spend the money on a port hole

Best beach: Plage de Raguénez

 

 

Best restaurant: La Châtaigneraie, Port Manec'h

Idyllic local town: Pont-Aven

Costal path cafe to potter to: Café de la plage, Rospico

Shop chic: Hangar Du Marin, Pont-Aven

Mass in a meadow: Saint-Philibert's chapel, Trégunc

Fish shop: Poissonnerie, Névez
